Research Interest

Research FieldMicrobial Ecology
Research Summary

My research deals with aquatic microbial ecology. I focus on anaerobic microbes such as sulphate-reducing bacteria, phototrophic sulphur bacteria and heterotrophic nanoflagellates with reference to carbon and sulphur cycling in marine and limnic environments.

KeywordsBacteria, HNF, Eutrophication, Water pollution, Water/sediment quality, Microbial ecology
