研究活動の紹介

授乳時に見られる射乳反射は仔が持続的に吸乳刺激を加えているにもかかわらず間欠的に起こります.この現象は視床下部の4ヶ所の離れた部位に分布するオキシトシン分泌細胞が持続的吸乳刺激に対して間欠的に突発性の興奮性応答を同期して示すことで起こるとされていますがその神経機構の根幹は不明です.オキシトシン分泌細胞の電気活動を指標としてこの神経機構の解明に取り組んでいます.
