Research Summary | Now that my study on laughter mechanism reached its goal, and sucessfully (Laughter has notheing to do with the language or the emotions: The order to laugh comes earlier to human body than those 'awarenesses.'), I am starting to study my next topic, "atmosphere, " whose conclusion, I hope, will be together with (and strenghthen) my past studies on laughter mechanism. |

Made oral presentations at International Society for Humor Studies more than several times, once being a plenary speaker ( Dijon, 2004). made an oral presentation and chaired one of the sessions at the Third LAFAL Symposium, held in Lodz, Poland(2013), among others. Gave a two-day lecture at Open University, Fukui (2012). Broadcast on FBC Radio Program entitled "Welcome to the FPU Laboratory."(2012). Conduct the FPU Pubilc Lectures (2011-- ).

Have won several awards, both at the English recitation contests and English speech contests.
My hobbies are reading books, enjoying art and music (especailly Bach, Handel, Baroque and Renaissance Music).
