Research Field
Research Summary Our group use X-ray crystallography, biochemistry, and molecular biology to investigate the enzyme structure-function relationships. The current main research focuses on polysaccharide glycoside hydrolases and carbohydrate binding proteins. Our goal is to provide new functional biomaterials from abundant natural resources such as chitin by using these macromolecules.
